Kursbeschreibung

This course serves as an introduction to the field of applied psychophysiology in clinical practice and explores the utilization of neurotechnological approaches in assessing brain function in clinical settings. Participants will gain practical knowledge of Functional Brain Analysis, QEEG and ERP. All participants will receive access to the Software for Neurobiological Signal Processing: WinEEG.

The course consists of one online module (divided over three weekends), plus one full day of practicum.

Module 1: Introduction to Applied Psychophysiology 

Module 2: Theoretical Foundations 

• Brain-State Theory 
• Brain Information Processing Theory 
• Brain Plasticity and its Clinical Implications 

Module 3: Neurobiological Signals Processing.
This module will include hands-on training and be  provided on the training site in Bucharest. Each participant will be performing a Brain Map.

• Basics of Neurobiological Signal Analysis 
• Signal Acquisition and Processing Techniques 
• Practical Applications in Clinical Assessment 

Module 4: Normative Databases 

• Understanding the Normative Database Concept 
• Role in Clinical Decision-Making 

Module 5: Functional Brain Biomarkers 

• Introduction to QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalography) 
• Interpretation and Application of Biomarker Data 

Module 6: Individualized Neurofeedback Protocols 

• Principles of Neurofeedback Therapy 
• Assessment Methods 
• Developing Basic Individualized Protocols
